Almost 1,700 images of runner portraits (2,200+ total) were taken during the Cebu City Marathon 2011 and its now online! Finally! All photos were shot in Osmena Boulevard (Jones Ave.) near the vicinity of Landbank and Cebu Normal University.

Because of the sheer volume of images, I am just doing a quick convert from the RAW file after a brief contrast adjustment so don’t expect too much of a beautiful photo. Edited version are also available.

Its just five days to go for the biggest running event in Cebu, the Cebu City Marathon which will happen this Sunday, 9 January. The official list of 42K and 21K participants are now out! Check it out by clicking on the links.

The registration for the Run for Sta. Teresa de Avila 2 has been extended to 29 December. This run, for the benefit of the Knights of Columbus, Talisay City, Poblacion parish, intends to raise funds for the city’s indigents and rebuild the parish hall. This event has the following race distances: 3K, 6K and 12K.

Runners should watch out for this one!

I was able to cover the 2010 edition for Smart and I just wish I will be able to run this one next year. Check the rest of the Epic Relay 250 2010 edition posts that I’ve done and consider the possibilities of running this good race with team mates.
