Epic Relay 250 race started early yesterday morning

Epic Relay 250 run started as early as 5 AM with some starting at 6, 7 and for those who are faster, much later
I am fortunate enough to cover the Epic Relay 250 race for Smart, a grueling 250 kilometer relay run that a team of 5 (ultrarunners) or 10 will have to negotiate alternately from Subic to Bataan, back to Subic (Lighthouse) and Zambales then back at the Lighthouse for the finish.
From the onset, one runner from the Yahoo! team had an accident when a vehicle came too close to a biker who swerved to evade but unfortunately, hit the runner and got blooded and brought to the hospital. On the other hand, the route takes one to one of the scenic roads along the Subic – Bataan – Subic – Zambales route that is simply breathtaking.
