Fairtrade Run 2010: my 2nd organized 5k race

Route of the Fairtrade Run, 5K which took us from Asiatown IT Park, JY Square and rounded off at Gorordo cor Escario Sts.
5.12 KM, 33min 10 sec, 06:28 pace

Singlet, which was rather small for me, and bib.
During the assembly time of 0430H, it did rain hard that I thought it would be a wet (and refreshing?) run and worried that it might be slippery but minutes before the race started, it stopped. Not too many runners, by the way, as the running community was divided with two races going on at the same time. The other is the 1st Eagle Run held at CDU.
As for the route, it started and finished at the Asiatown IT Park, turned right at Salinas Drive to JY Square, then to Gorordo Ave. For the 5k, it turned back at the intersection of Escario and Gorordo.

I admire him for his efforts but his costume is just too cumbersome for him.
TV personality Dyan Castillejo ran and won 5th place in the women’s division and as for the rest of the other women 5k winners, I was really shocked that they were very young and wishing that they will go further with their running talent. As for the foreigners, the Kenyans were missing but there were some Japanese and caucasians.
Of course, the costumed runners were there including Twinkle (an upcoming interview will be posted next month), four in all including one who I pity because of his oversized costume that made it difficult for him to run.

Hello Sir, How does it take to organize a race?
Can you provide me some tips on that through Email as one of my friends is asking me to help him out in their province.
Thank you very much!
