		<description>Estan, that person who collects the detachable bar codes, he&#039;s working with another person who&#039;s just a few meters in front of him, right at the finish line. The finish line guy clicks on a handheld device that records people as they come across the line, which is printed in a long, receipt-like piece of paper. Afterwards, they match the times with the barcodes in the order that they&#039;re collected. I think it&#039;s the old-school approach, obviously before the RFIDs and timing chips, which are more expensive because they promise more accurate times.</description>
